METHERM® CS 1000
High Temperature Calcium Silicate Insulation Board
METHERM® CS 1000 high temperature calcium silicate insulation board is mainly produced of xonotlite and reinforcing fiber. It is asbestos-free and has a maximum heat-resistant temperature of 1000℃. It is an energy-efficient product. It has excellent characteristics such as high heat resistance temperature, strong thermal insulation performance, low bulk density, high specific strength, good durability, corrosion resistance, cutting ability and convenient sawing construction. It can be widely used in energy saving and thermal insulation engineering of industrial furnaces & kilns.
This product is composed of quartz and lime by the dynamic hydro-thermal synthesis of the main crystalline phase xonotlite. The peculiar spherical microporous structure determines the excellent performance of this product in thermal insulation technology:
1. Low thermal conductivity and good thermal insulation.
2. Good thermal stability and less shrinkage when temperature changes.
3. Low density, small bulk density and low heat storage.
4. Good durability.
5. High strength, its strength is the highest among hard insulation materials.
6. Contains no carcinogens, such as asbestos, sulfur, chlorine and other toxic substances and other low melting organic binders.
